Nu har i alla fall resultatet kommit in efter att tävlingen avslutades den 10:e Februari.
Totalt 68 Python ormar blev fångade. Målet med tävlingen var att öka kunskapen bland gemene man om python ormarna, hur många det finns samt hur dom påverkar Everglades ekosystemet.
1600 personer från 38 stater hade registrerat sig till den här tävlingen.
1:a pris på 1500 USD gick till Ruben Ramirez, som fångade 18 python ormar.
2:a plats på 1000 USD, genom att fånga den längsta ormen gick till Paul Shannon, som fångade en 4,5 m python orm.
Rekordet på största fångade Burmese python orm var från förra året, 2012, då lyckades man fånga en orm som var 5,4 m lång och vägde 75 kg.

Totally 68 Burmese pythons had been harvested. The goal of the challenge was to heighten public awareness about the python snakes, the amount of them and their impact on the Everglades ecosystem.
1,600 people from 38 states, had registered for the competition.
The first prize of $1,500 for harvesting the most Burmese pythons went to Ruben Ramirez, who harvested 18 pythons.
The second place of $1,000 harvesting the longest Burmese python went to Paul Shannon, who harvested a 14-foot, 3-inch-long python.
Th record is from last year, 2012, when they found the largest python; it was 17-feet, 7-inches (5.4 meters). The snake weighed nearly 165 pounds (75 kg).
